WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT: DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR MORE EFFICIENCY

Our warehouse management software (LVS) acts as a central interface between the ERP system and the Autostore system, ensuring a consistently digitized and smooth workflow for all logistical processes. Therefore, our 10,000 m² large storage area is not only optimally utilized, but also every storage space is precisely assigned.

WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT: DIGITAL SOLUTIONS FOR MORE EFFICIENCY

Our warehouse management software (WMS) acts as a central interface between the ERP system and the Autostore system, ensuring a consistently digitized and smooth flow of all logistical processes. Therefore, our 10,000 m² large storage area is not only optimally utilized, but also every storage space is precisely assigned.

In addition to optimizing routes for our employees, the software reduces the error rate through digital control and lowers resource consumption through paperless processes. The system is supported by modern hardware such as powerful PC systems, ergonomic hand scanners, automated conveyor belts, and a high-availability Wi-Fi for maximum network stability.

By combining digitalization, automation, and modern infrastructure, we enable fast responsiveness to increasing order volumes. At the same time, we ensure a sustainable use of our storage capacities – efficient, future-proof and flexibly positioned.

AUTOMATIC STORAGE WITH AUTOSTORE: COMPACT, EFFICIENT, FAST

To maximize the efficiency of our storage space, we use the AutoStore system, an innovative solution for automatic storage and order picking. Using an intelligent rail system (grid), high-speed robots pick up the containers, sort them, and quickly transport them to the appropriate ports for incoming or outgoing goods. This way, we increase the order accuracy and noticeably shorten the time from order to shipment.

Currently, 14,200 containers are in use, which ensure compact and structured storage. Another expansion of 6,800 containers is already prepared and can be activated without delay as needed. Thanks to AutoStore, we were able to reduce the space needed by about 75% compared to the previous storage structure – and thus create new capacities.

In addition to optimized space utilization, the system impresses with its high energy efficiency. The robots work with the latest recuperation technology, which feeds the energy gained during operation directly back into the battery. Supported by modern analytics, the entire warehouse process runs structured, resource-conserving, and nearly error-free – for logistics that do justice to progress.

NEW CONSTRUCTION: FUTURE LOGISTICS

To meet the increasing demands for availability and delivery speed, we significantly expanded our logistics and office space in 2023. A modern new building was constructed on a site of approximately 11,400 m², which includes not only additional office space but also another high-bay warehouse. The new warehouse offers a total of 10,500 pallet spaces on 5,000 m² of floor space, a huge increase in our storage capacity.
In addition to logistics, the new building also houses an innovative showroom, where our product world can be impressively presented, as well as a modern laboratory for product tests and quality controls as part of our quality management.

We also set standards in sustainability with the new building: A large-scale photovoltaic system on the hall roof provides environmentally friendly electricity, while the entire building was constructed as energy-efficient and resource-conserving according to the criteria of the federal funding program BEG EG 40. This not only creates space for growth, but also for a future-oriented, sustainable corporate development.

Automatic storage with AutoStore

To maximize the efficiency of our storage space, we use the modern AutoStore system, an automated storage and picking solution that excels in speed, precision, and compactness. The heart of the system is an intelligent rail system (grid) on which high-speed robots pick up, sort, and transport the storage containers precisely to the respective ports for incoming or outgoing goods.

Currently, 14,200 containers are in use, which enable structured and space-saving storage and significantly simplify the processes in our logistics. This allows not only for faster order picking and shipping, but also for a noticeable improvement in accuracy, resulting in reliable, efficient order processing at the highest level.

Additionally, an additional expansion with another 6,800 containers is prepared and can be activated immediately if needed.

By expanding our warehouse with Autostore, we were able to reduce the space needed by about 75% compared to the previous storage, which now gives us more space for additional goods.

In addition to its quick availability, the system is also very energy-efficient. The high-speed robots used save energy by feeding it back into the battery during operation through regenerative braking. Driven by the system's cutting-edge technology and analytics, storage is streamlined and error-free.

NEW CONSTRUCTION: FUTURE LOGISTICS

To meet the high demands of our partners for availability and delivery times, we built a new facility with an additional warehouse and offices in 2023. The approximately 11,400 square meter property significantly expands our existing warehouse and office space. Within our new building, a new warehouse was also created with a total of 10,500 pallet spaces on 5,000 square meters of floor space.

To represent our product range and company, we have a modern showroom in the new building, along with many new offices. Additionally, there is an innovative laboratory used for product and quality control as part of our quality management system.

We also promote sustainability wherever possible. Our hall roof is equipped with a photovoltaic system to generate environmentally friendly energy. Additionally, the new building was constructed under sustainable conditions and is not only an environmentally friendly, but also a resource-conserving and energy-efficient building. As part of the federal funding program for efficient buildings (BEG), our new building is an efficiency building BEG EG 40.
